Warehouse Supervisor

Role Overview: The Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, returns, order fulfillment, and managing controlled substances. They are responsible for hiring, training, and evaluating associates, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining accurate records of shipments and inventory. The role involves directing workflow, motivating staff, and implementing process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency. Additionally, they support compliance with safety policies, DEA regulations, and quality standards, while fostering teamwork and development among team members. Key Responsibilities Supervise warehouse staff, monitor performance, and manage attendance and overtime. Oversee operations related to receiving, shipping, order accuracy, and controlled substances management. Ensure safety guidelines and regulatory compliance are followed. Maintain detailed records of shipments, inventory, and controlled substances. Coordinate delivery manifests and resolve order or delivery issues. Support process improvements for efficiency and accuracy. Lead safety initiatives and ensure quality control in packing and shipping. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, administration, or related fields. Minimum of two years’ relevant supervisory experience. Effective communication, decision-making, and leadership skills. Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal abilities. Knowledge of warehouse operations, safety protocols, and computer software (Outlook, Word, Excel). Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment (e.g., reach truck) may be required. Willingness to work extended hours, participate in physical inventories, and be flexible with scheduling.
