Warehouse Supervisor 2nd Shift - Suffolk, VA

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the warehouse with a focus on supervising warehouse associates and achieving daily production goals. Primary Duties: Set priorities, work assignments and provides direction and feedback to all associates within the warehouse Reviews the daily work objective and determines productivity requirements to produce during the shift to meet the overall building objectives Conducts daily pre-shift meetings and submits daily end of shift report Train, enforce and effectively communicate all company policies and procedures Maintain safe warehouse practices and procedures throughout the facility by driving safety compliance Manages and maintains good human resources practices with all associates, and adherence to established policies and procedures Works with Management and Human Resources to resolve employee relation issues, discipline actions, problem resolution and terminations Provides feedback, coaching, and recognition to enhance associate’s skill development Create and foster culture for continuous improvement, compliance, and accountability Requirements: 2 Years or more Warehouse Supervisor experience Experience with warehouse management systems Excellent verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills Strong organizational skills; attention to detail Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations Working knowledge of warehouse / mechanical equipment Proficient in MS Office and Excel Competitive Pay 401(k) Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance Package Disability and Life Insurance Package Paid Time Off and Holidays Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities
