Dispatcher Samsara Fleet Operations

Dispatcher Location: Capitol Heights, MD 20743 Full Time Work Arrangement: On-site; must report in person to the designated work location Required System Experience : Samsara The Dispatcher will coordinate and monitor daily operational activities, maintain communication with drivers and relevant internal teams, and help ensure that assignments and schedules are managed efficiently. The successful candidate must have experience working with Samsara, basic computer proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accurate records and clear communication. Experience working in a union environment is beneficial. The role requires on-site attendance in Capitol Heights, Maryland, with travel of up to 20% as needed. Required Qualifications Demonstrated experience working with the Samsara platform. Basic computer skills, including data entry and use of standard workplace applications. Strong communication and coordination skills. Good attention to detail and accurate recordkeeping. Ability to manage multiple assignments and changing priorities. Ability to work on-site in Capitol Heights, Maryland. Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time. Ability to work in the United States without employer-sponsored visa support. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a union environment. Previous experience in dispatch, operations coordination, transportation, fleet operations, manufacturing, or a related service environment. Familiarity with scheduling, tracking, operational reporting, and dispatch documentation. Ability to troubleshoot routine operational issues and escalate more complex concerns appropriately.
