MUST PASS DRUG TEST AND BACKGROUND CHECK Duties Supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment. Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Oversee the operation of material handling equipment such as forklifts to ensure safe and efficient movement of goods. Implement process improvements using lean management principles to enhance productivity and reduce waste. Maintain accurate inventory records; conduct regular cycle counts. Oversee shipping & receiving processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all outbound and inbound shipments. Skills Extensive experience in warehouse distribution, and distribution center operations. Proven track record in warehouse supervisor roles with strong team leadership capabilities. Proficiency in inventory management. Mechanical knowledge related to materials handling equipment operation such as forklifts. Strong managerial communication skills to effectively coordinate with teams and upper management. Knowledge of lean management principles to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency. Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining safety standards. Experience with shipping & receiving procedures, materials handling techniques, and warehouse operations best practices.
