Warehouse Supervisor
Particle Sciences Inc, an Agno Pharma CompanyPosition Summary The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for leading the company's warehouse operations, including shipping/receiving, inventory management, and other warehouse operations. This role partners closely with Supply Chain, Quality, R&D, Manufacturing, Finance, and Project Management to ensure materials are available and issued to support clinical and commercial manufacturing while optimizing inventory levels, reducing costs, and improving operational efficiency. Essential Responsibilities Execute warehouse operations including Shipping, Receiving, Storage, Inventory Control, Material Issuance, Cycle Counting, and Inventory Tracking. Identify and report gaps. EHS/Compliance – Take responsibility for safety and demonstrate courage to hold each other accountable. Order & maintain warehouse material inventory levels at target levels and report on cycle count results & cost exceptions monthly. Verifies required inbound/outbound paperwork with drivers, ensuring that all products are properly counted. Take ownership of and integrate both the GMP & R&D Warehouse strategy execution. Continuously build experience & knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices Manage Supplier/Vendor relationships to provide the quality and service needed to maintain consistent & accurate supply for Manufacturing. Organize and maintain material bins & locations through the Warehouse System, identify and resolve gaps. Serve as a representative for Client and Regulatory audits. Write and update departmental SOP’s as review periods arise. Ensure subordinates are trained and understand all SOP’s relevant to their job functions. Maintain all DEA controlled environments and paperwork Work collaboratively with Department teams to prioritize Supply Chain functions, including QA so that warehouse functions are completed in conjunction with QA functions. Lead opportunities to manage materials more efficiently through the inventory system, including inherited materials through project close-outs. Handling & Shipment of GMP & Development materials in any storage condition, while maintaining & storing associated documentation. Conduct oneself and expect coworkers to conduct themselves consistently with the accountable culture principles. Proactively identify, control, and reduce health and safety risk in all aspects of the operation. Understand the critical hazards in the area and how to mitigate them. Lead the company's supply chain operations, including procurement planning, inventory management, warehouse operations, and material availability. Qualifications BA/BS degree or 4 + years of warehousing coordination equivalent experience 2+ years in Logistics/ Inventory Management Proficient with common PC based applications Has high-level user skills with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook Knowledge of safety precautions and protocols for safe handling and the disposal of hazardous agents/reagents, chemicals and materials Organization and communication Working knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and pharmaceutical material management principles (FIFO, FEFO). Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment.
