JOB SUMMARY The Warehouse/Stock Utility is responsible for daily order processing and accuracy, customer service, record maintenance, and route driver as needed. QUALIFICATIONS Required Education and Experience: High School diploma or GED required. Good driving record and valid driver’s license. Maximum 2 points Preferred: Previous experience driving large vehicles Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Demonstrated good attendance and punctuality. Professional appearance, compliance with Nutrition Services Uniform policy. Excellent customer service and communication skills (verbal and written). Ability to work well with principals, custodians, and other Food Service employees. Demonstrated experience working with computers, required. Working knowledge of Windows based programs (Word, Excel, Access). Working knowledge of the District’s e-mail and student records systems. Willingness to be trained in all areas of food production. Demonstrated ability to participate as a member of a team. Demonstrated ability to work in a diverse environment. Other essential functions may include, but are not limited to the following: Responsible for working with the Food & Nutrition Supervisors to set work priorities. Input daily and weekly food and supply orders to meet essential deadlines. Review and edit orders to prevent excess inventory. Maintain daily contact with Food & Nutrition employees concerning food safety, food preparation and USDA regulations using multiple phone lines. Printing and filing reports are crucial to the daily meal delivery system. Responsible for the computer ordering / inventory system. Review and maintain snack and meal sent reports for accuracy. Work on special events assignment as directed by the supervisor. Assist with Warehouse Lead to ensure that all food and supplies are delivered daily to the appropriate schools in a timely manner. Ability to run all delivery routes and provide training and instruction for both drivers and “partials” employees. Fill in as delivery driver/”partials”, warehouse as needed. Maintain high standards of sanitation and safety in the food service area. Attend meetings conducted by the Food & Nutrition Services Director, workshops, and general meetings in order to increase knowledge and efficiency. Interact with co-workers, administration, students, parents and the community in a positive, supportive and cooperative ways. Consistently demonstrate dependable attendance and punctuality. Perform other duties as assigned.
