PCSI - Professional Contract Services, IncPCSI is looking for a Warehouse Specialist lll as directed, constructs crates in compliance with TARP (Technical Assistance for Repairables Processing) requirements and NAVSUP P-700 packaging guidelines. This position will report to the Warehouse Supervisor/Project Manager and is based in Norfolk and Virginia Beach, VA. What You'll Do As a Warehouse Specialist Lll Constructs crates in compliance with TARP (Technical Assistance for Repairables Processing) requirements and NAVSUP P-700 packaging guidelines. Reads and interprets blueprints, drawings, and schematics to support accurate crate construction and packaging design. Measures, cuts, and assembles wood materials using hand and power tools to build custom packaging solutions. Performs preservation and packing of materials based on item characteristics and shipping requirements to ensure protection during storage and transport. Prepares shipments by packing, sealing, banding, labeling, and applying required markings in accordance with regulatory and customer requirements. Sorts, stages, and processes materials for outbound shipment, including preparation for transfer to commercial carriers (e.g., FedEx, UPS). Inspects materials and completed crates for quality, accuracy, and compliance with applicable standards, reporting discrepancies as needed. Operates material handling equipment (MHE) such as pallet jacks and forklifts to move materials within the warehouse. Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work environment and adheres to all site safety policies and procedures. Supports general warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory, and logistics functions as required. Works independently or as part of a team to complete assignments within established timelines. Reports all accidents, incidents, and unsafe conditions to supervision. What You'll Need High school diploma or GED. OSHA certified forklift operator. Two (2) or more years of experience in warehouse operations. Class A CDL preferred. Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Ability to utilize normal material handling equipment (MHE) to include pallet jacks, VIDMAR systems and forklifts. Ability to utilize ERP AIT devices. Ability to lift, move and set down lightweight parts under 45 pounds without use of MHE. Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time. Ability to bend, crouch, stoop, stretch, reach push loaded part carts, boxes of parts, etc. Ability to climb stairs or ladders and work in confined spaces. Ability to expertly communicate both orally and/or in written format. Ability to follow guidelines to arrange objects or actions in a certain order.
