Warehouse Specialist job description Summary Description Inventory flow and control through our retail locations and order fulfillment to our customers are essential to OAKs success. Your ultimate responsibility as a warehouse specialist is to ensure accurate and timely delivery of inventory to OAK retail locations and orders to our customers. Expected hours of operation · The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Essential Job Duties · Provide positive and professional Teammate service including phones, email, virtual meetings, and in-person interactions · Collaborate with location managers, counter salespeople, delivery drivers, outside sales, tech reps, IMS specialists, and front office personnel. Ensuring clear communication on all information related to the status of location stock orders, add-ons, backorders, inbound vendor orders, demonstration materials and equipment, and products and equipment related to customer installs · Accurately and in a timely manner, process all customer orders and location transfers, backorders and documenting lost sales when applicable · Stage orders neatly in the delivery area and assist delivery drivers in loading delivery vehicles · Accurately and in a timely manner, receive, process, and put away all inbound inventory from vendors and store locations, keeping inventory properly rotated · Keep the common areas, breakroom, and warehouse areas clean and well displayed · Participate in internal Teammate training and vendor provided training · Assist the Warehouse Managers with inventory counts and other special projects abilities, knowledge, and skills · High attention to detail and process thinker; analyzing, calculating, creating, conceptualizing, communicating, listening, etc. · Self-starter who demonstrates a sense of urgency in the work performed. Ongoing learner, especially with industry trends and technology. · Good communication skills, verbal and written with legible handwriting. · Short-term and long-term memory of multiple interactions. · Tolerate stress from the demands of Teammates, customers, and vendors, all of whom want timely services. Controlling emotions, such as anger towards a customer, vendor, or another Teammate. physical abilities · Speak clearly to be heard both in person and over the phone · Able to lift and carry short distances product or equipment weighing up to 40lbs · Able to participate in group lifts of 41 pounds or more · Able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach · Able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time while pushing or pulling carts or pallet jacks full of inventory Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
