Warehouse Specialist

Warehouse Specialist Hicks Lightning Protection provides turnkey lightning protection and grounding systems for commercial and industrial projects. We service projects throughout the United States and abroad, with offices and employees located in Texas, Oklahoma, Arizona, and Virginia. This role has potential to grow into a Warehouse Lead position for candidates who demonstrate strong performance. Hicks Lightning Protection is currently looking to fill the need of an Warehouse Specialist for our Houston location. The Warehouse Associate will be working closely with our Warehouse team and responsible for the following: Job description Count and maintain all inventory entering and exiting the warehouse Update inventory and shipping information in the computer system. Keep all pallets balanced and updated. Move pallets and materials throughout the warehouse using a forklift Local deliveries in Houston metroplex (as needed). Minor building maintenance and cleaning. Complete minor repairs or setups to Hicks LP vehicles and equipment. Run errands for materials or supplies for the warehouse and/or office. Ability to manage time effectively and complete assigned tasks without supervision. Equip all new trucks. Taking inventory of Houston warehouse. Other duties may be assigned. Work Experience & Other Requirements Inventory management experience required 2–3 years of warehouse experience preferred Forklift certification Microsoft Excel preferred Willing to travel as needed to support other warehouse locations General construction knowledge preferred Clean driving record Good oral and written communications skills Ability to pass a background check and drug & alcohol test Ability to work well with others, as well as individually Ability to stand up to 10-12 hours Ability to individually lift up to 50 lbs.
