Warehouse Shipping Associate

Position Overview: Under the direction of the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Associate is someone who performs a variety of warehouse duties. Duties include shipping and receiving product. This is a non-supervisory position. Candidate picks orders, prepares freight, loads with correct product, correct quantity with proper labeling and banding. Candidate also unloads trucks, moves material from the receiving area throughout the warehouse, operates forklift and may perform critical functions for maintaining proper inventory. Duties include keeping warehouse organized as well as bringing components and supplies to production lines when needed. Candidate must be punctual and work 40 hours a week. Candidate must be able to lift materials weighing up to 55 lbs as needed. Candidate must be able to drive a forklift. Candidate must be able to listen to direction and be detail oriented. Must pay attention to the differences in product identity and product location, maintain correct inventory count, be able to read a pick list and correctly count the product required to fulfill and order High school degree or GED required. Candidate must be able to do basic math and count accurately. Candidate must be able to prepare orders by creating pallets with product, use a scanner to update inventory, wrap pallets, load and unload trucks with product and packaging. Candidate must be able to keep warehouse organized and clean.
