Warehouse Shipper/Receiver *Seasonal*

* Please indicate your availability with your application - this is a Seasonal role. * Nutters Everyday Naturals is seeking a driven and dedicated Shipper/Receiver to join our Warehouse team in Medicine Hat, AB. This position reports to the Logistics Manager. Competencies Attention to Detail Commitment to Health and Safety Cooperation Ownership Teamwork Time Management Job Duties Inspect and verify shipped goods for both incoming and outgoing items prior to signing off; reject damaged goods Oversee cargo handling and secure loads in accordance with established safety requirements Provide feedback to management regarding customer problems, mechanical problems, or delivery problems Resolve any cases of missing documentation, shipments, or deliveries Adhere to established safe working procedures and wear the proper safety equipment at all times Receive and process warehouse stock products Report any discrepancies in inventory to management and partner on long-term solutions Operate lifting devices such as forklifts, hoists and pallet jacks Manually load and unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, and lifting devices Tag, mark, or label stock items and ensure they are placed in correct storage location Inspect product to ensure saleable condition with acceptable coding Work with their manager to fulfill inventory needs for both the stores and warehouse orders Execute standard operating procedures and policies with accuracy and efficiency -Prior continuous improvement training, and computer program literacy are an asset. -Demonstrate a strong commitment to the company vision, guiding principles and profitability. Job Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands Ability to work individually as well as part of a team Demonstrated time management skills High level of integrity and work ethic Work Conditions Operation and use of necessary tools, machinery, or equipment Extended periods of standing, and other physically demanding conditions Lifting, moving, or manipulating objects and boxes At Nutters Everyday Naturals, we are committed to creating a positive and inclusive work environment.
