Position Summary This is an on-site position with a shift schedule of 4:30 AM to 1:00 PM. Only candidates who are available to work these hours are encouraged to apply. The Warehouse Shipper/Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating and executing transportation activities within the warehouse environment. This role ensures the efficient dispatching of orders, timely communication with drivers and customers, compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and adherence to safety standards. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting operational excellence and customer satisfaction. What You'll Do Dispatch & Transportation Coordination Dispatch all orders within assigned service areas and manage dispatch board activities. Monitor order status and key milestones to ensure on-time deliveries. Communicate order delays and service issues to Customer Service and Logistics Coordinators. Respond to inquiries from drivers and customers in a professional and timely manner. Process tracing and tracking requests and provide accurate shipment updates. Order Management & Compliance Maintain accurate and timely updates of order notes within operational systems. Ensure compliance with all company and client-specific Standard Operating Procedures. Follow established Proof of Delivery (POD) processes and documentation requirements. Support warehouse and transportation activities while adhering to company safety standards. Operational Excellence Participate in and lead operational projects as assigned. Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute ideas that enhance efficiency and service quality. Support continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse and transportation operations. Perform other duties as required. What You Bring Previous experience in logistics, transportation, dispatch, or a related field. Strong customer service skills with a commitment to delivering a positive customer experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Exceptional organizational and planning skills with strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and sense of accountability. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and take on additional responsibilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Required Qualifications Experience working within a logistics, transportation, warehouse, or dispatch environment. Bilingualism in English and French is required . Ability to communicate effectively in a diverse and multicultural environment. Reliable, punctual, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
