Job Summary DSI is growing—again! We are currently hiring Full-Time Warehouse Security Officers in Poinciana, FL. As a Warehouse Security Officer, you will help maintain a safe, secure, and professional environment at a warehouse facility. You will monitor access to the property, conduct routine patrols, observe activity throughout the facility, and assist with maintaining security procedures. The ideal candidate is dependable, alert, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Essential Job Responsibilities Maintain a visible security presence throughout the warehouse and property Monitor and control access to the facility in accordance with site procedures Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols Monitor employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors entering and leaving the property Observe and report suspicious activity, safety concerns, security incidents, and policy violations Monitor gates, entrances, exits, and designated security areas Verify credentials and follow visitor and access-control procedures Respond appropriately to alarms, incidents, and emergencies Complete accurate daily activity reports and incident reports Maintain professional communication with employees, management, visitors, and vendors Follow all DSI policies, client requirements, post orders, and site-specific procedures Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times Qualifications & Requirements Minimum 18 years of age High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver’s license preferred Reliable transportation and a reliable means of communication Basic to intermediate computer skills Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to conduct routine foot patrols and perform moderate lifting Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to remain alert and attentive throughout the shift Must successfully complete all required preemployment requirements Available Shifts Second Shift Weekend Shift First Shift Third Shift Pay: $15.01 per hour Benefits Eligible employees may have access to: Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Required Screenings Criminal Background Check Motor Vehicle Record Check Drug Screen Join the DSI Team If you are dependable, professional, and ready to help maintain a safe and secure warehouse environment, we want to hear from you.
