Warehouse Receiver

Application Requirements & Essential Functions for a Warehouse Receiver: Verifies purchase order numbers on all inbound deliveries, inspects for damage, discrepancies, and/or shortages based on Bill of Lading and packing slips Clear and professional communication with drivers, warehouse managers, and staff as necessary Must have strong attention to detail, organizational skills, basic computer knowledge, and elementary mathematic skills Proper sorting, coding, labeling and staging of shipments to process Must demonstrate the ability to work independently and follow instruction Must be able to handle the physical nature of the position, having the ability to lift up to 50lbs on a consistent basis and occasionally more Familiarity with radio frequency equipment and the different applications for the warehouse Assist all other departments with company-wide seasonal events and product promotions, to help meet the needs of the Company Candidates must be eighteen years of age or older General Summary: On a daily basis: receives, codes and stages inbound shipments to be processed in an accurate and timely manner. In addition, processes and prepares merchandise for sale. Qualified candidates must be available to work Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays 7:30am-4pm.
