Warehouse Quality Assistant

Responsibilities: This position offers 25 – 40 hours of work per week for a person who has good attention to detail. The job entails checking prepared orders in the warehouse for accuracy and quality of appearance. Picked orders will be staged and verified for accuracy including proper quantity, item, lot/batch, color, and container (drum versus tote). Once accuracy is verified, quality will be reviewed. Quality inspection includes the cleanliness of the product, the strength of the stretchwrap or banding that secures the product to the pallet and if all special instructions have been followed. An additional function is to verify that all billings of miscellaneous materials and handling have been identified and charged on the pick ticket. Lastly, a photo will be taken using the tablet designated for this task that will memorialize the condition of the shipment. Benefits: The pay rate is $20.00 per hour. Health Insurance is available once the schedule increases to 30 hours per week. Vacation is paid based on average hours worked. One week’s paid vacation is available after one year on the job. Two weeks’ paid vacation is available after two years of employment. Pay: $20.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 25.0 per week Work Location: In person
