Cleaning and maintaining floors, racking, and general areas. Waste Disposal: Transporting trash and waste to designated disposal areas and compacting cardboard using trash compactors or designated tools. Organization and Stocking: Organizing and removing trash, recycling, and surplus materials from the facility. May also involve restocking shelves and organizing inventory. Safety and Hazard Management: Performing daily property walks to identify and address potential hazards. Ensuring a safe working environment and adhering to safety procedures. Supporting Warehouse Operations: Assisting with receiving and shipping, including loading and unloading trucks, palletizing products, and preparing orders. Inventory Control: Assisting with inventory counts and ensuring accurate stock levels. General Support: Providing general support to the warehouse team with various tasks as directed by supervisors. Communication: Communicating with supervisors and other team members regarding any issues, maintenance needs, or supply requests. Skills and Qualifications: Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Attention to Detail: Ensuring cleanliness and organization, identifying potential hazards, and maintaining accurate inventory. Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and complete them efficiently. Communication Skills: Effectively communicating with supervisors and other team members. Safety Awareness: Understanding and adhering to safety procedures and regulations. Equipment Operation: Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, when required.
