Warehouse Order Selector/Scanner

Position Overview Professional’s Choice is a leading manufacturer and distributor of equestrian products. In this role, you will utilize printed Sales Order Pick tickets to select customer orders in a timely, neat, correct, organized and accurate manner. Once an order has been selected, you will scan the bar codes on the items selected and the pick ticket to ensure a correct product match. Once the order has been selected correctly, you will package the order for shipment. Essential Job Functions · Utilizing pick tickets select individual items of a customer order in a timely, neat, correct, organized and accurate manner · Review each pick ticket for back order, packaging and shipping instructions · Scan bar code tickets and product UPC’s to ensure a correct item and quantity match · Pack box(es) to the appropriate weight and size per UPS/FedEx/customer specifications · Check at the conclusion of each order to ensure 100% accuracy · Fix items as needed for quality (i.e., packaging, tags, etc.) · Assist in unloading containers of product · Palletize product according to item/size/color · Assist in performing cycle counts · Physical Inventory · Scanning in and shelving returns Requirements · High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) · Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language, including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar · Ability to follow written and verbal instructions · Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Outlook · Forklift Certified Other Skills/Abilities · Two (2) Years Warehouse Order Selecting/Scanning Experience · Detail oriented · Neat and organized Physical Requirements · Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis · Ability to stand for long periods and walk for long distances · Ability to bend, stoop, reach overhead · Environment subject to cold/warm temperatures Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee assistance program Employee discount Flexible spending account Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Vision insurance License/Certification: Forklift Certification (Required) Work Location: In person
