Warehouse - Order Picker

Job Summary The Order Picker pulls customer orders according to specification. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ▪ Use the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to receive and process assigned picking tasks. ▪ Locate products within the warehouse using system-directed locations. ▪ Scan products and storage locations to verify accuracy during the picking process. ▪ Select the correct quantities and items according to customer orders. ▪ Place picked items in designated totes, carts, or staging areas for packing and shipping. ▪ Verify product descriptions, quantities, lot numbers, or other identifying information as required. ▪ Report inventory discrepancies, damaged products, or location errors to supervisors. ▪ Maintain productivity standards while ensuring a high level of accuracy. ▪ Follow established warehouse procedures and quality standards. ▪ Assist in inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock replenishment activities as needed. ▪ Keep warehouse aisles, workstations, and picking areas organized and clean. ▪ Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and equipment operating guidelines. ▪ Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned. REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES ▪ Must have superb attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. ▪ Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks, ensure accuracy and efficiency, and handle multiple duties simultaneously. ▪ Must be adaptable and able to do work that requires frequent shifts in direction. ▪ Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and pallet wrappers. ▪ Ability to work independently and as part of a team. ▪ Strong work ethic and reliability. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE ▪ High school diploma or GED. ▪ 1 year of order fulfillment experience in a warehouse setting. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS ▪ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. ▪ Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time ▪ Ability to bend, kneel, stoop crouch, and stack as needed ▪ Ability to operate heavy machinery Pay: From $15.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Health savings account Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
