Warehouse Operator

Description: Title: Warehouse Operator Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor Status: Full-Time Wages: Hourly non-exempt Work Week: Monday-Friday General description summary POSITION OVERVIEW The Warehouse Operator reports to the McClellan Warehouse Supervisor and is responsible for safely and effectively operating equipment used for shipping and receiving. This role maintains equipment in safe working condition, operates trucks and other industrial vehicles to move products between the warehouse and work areas, follows company safety procedures and equipment policies, recommends process improvements to increase efficiency and safety, and immediately reports unsafe operations to the supervisor. The Warehouse Operator keeps the work area clean, safe, and organized; complies with all standard operating procedures and requirements; and conducts all company-related business professionally, safely, and efficiently, in full compliance with Perimeter Solutions Controllership and ESH&S policies. Essential Duties & Responsibilities include (not in any priority): Customer Service (Answer phones, field customer technical questions) Ensure a clean work environment (warehouse, Shipping office). Responsible for Shipping and Receiving Fulfill and ship all Phos-Chek® orders received by the Customer Service Center in Rancho Cucamonga and Airbases Receive, store and ship finish product and equipment in various types of packaging Assist in production at the McClellan site when available Schedule shipping and receiving of finished product and equipment to and from portables Shipping of all products and equipment from both the McClellan warehouses and the extended warehouse Receive all inventory and non-inventory items into the ERP system Inventory counts Record Sales Order data Meet and greet visitors at the McClellan warehouses Record and Control Change in the Store Inventories Work Environment and Physical Demands: This position involves high stress and frequent, often short notice of loads dropping in to be shipped out to bases. The role requires lifting 24–55 lbs., and frequent crouching or kneeling. Work includes prolonged driving (up to 12 hours/day), desk work. Employees regularly work in inclement weather and extreme temperatures and may be exposed to hazards associated with aircraft, heavy equipment, and fire operations. The physical demands and work environment described are representative of those required to perform the essential functions of this position. Requirements: Required Qualification, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: High school diploma or equivalent 1-year Warehouse experience Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, NetSuite, and similar systems Certified Equipment Yard Truck, Forklift trained. Oral and written communication skills This position will be working in a warehouse and manufacturing site atmosphere Extended work periods are to be expected during period end closing & fire season Work requirements include availability after hours when required Must be able to work in a Team atmosphere Must have a valid Driver’s License Valid Class A or B driver’s license preferred; trailer towing and load securement experience preferred
