Warehouse Operations Support Worker

Warehouse Operations Support Worker needed ASAP in a small, fast-paced manufacturing company. Seeking a candidate with a good attitude who is interested in assisting with the smooth flow of materials, ensuring accurate inventory, and supporting the warehouse's daily operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping. Duties and Responsibilities: Receiving and Processing: Unloading and inspecting incoming shipments for accuracy and damage. Ensuring proper documentation and processing of receipts. Verifying product against purchase orders and packing lists. Inventory Management: Maintaining accurate inventory records and stock levels. Performing cycle counts and physical inventory checks. Identifying and addressing discrepancies or shortages. Order Fulfillment: Picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. Ensuring orders are accurate and complete before shipping. Loading and securing shipments for transport. Warehouse Operations: Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Operating warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks. Assisting with material handling and storage. Measuring, precise cutting, safe basic and power tool handling. Other Duties: Supporting other warehouse functions as needed. Communicating with other departments (e.g., production, sales). Following all safety procedures and regulations. Skills and Qualifications: Basic Math Skills: Ability to perform calculations related to inventory, quantities, etc. Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately track and record inventory, and identify discrepancies. Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift and move materials up to 50 lbs, and operate warehouse equipment. Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with others in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Safety Awareness: Understanding and adherence to safety protocols and regulations. Experience: Prior experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour Work Location: In person
