Warehouse Operations Manager
iJilityOperations Manager – Site Operations Location: Houston / Pasadena, TX Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt Reports To: Director of Operations Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead all aspects of a high-volume warehouse/transload operation. This position has full site responsibility and is accountable for safety, customer service, labor management, productivity, quality, staffing, and financial performance. The ideal candidate is a hands-on operational leader who can effectively manage the warehouse floor while maintaining strong customer relationships and delivering service and financial results. Key Responsibilities Lead all daily warehouse, cross-dock, transload, and container processing operations. Own overall site performance, customer service, safety, productivity, and financial results. Develop staffing and labor plans based on forecasted and actual workload. Monitor productivity, labor hours, overtime, CPU/transactional performance, and operational KPIs. Manage site-level budget and P&L performance , including labor-to-revenue and margin. Ensure customer SLAs, quality standards, and production requirements are consistently achieved. Serve as the primary operational contact for customer leadership. Lead, coach, and develop Supervisors, Leads, and hourly associates. Maintain compliance with company, customer, OSHA, and safety requirements. Identify operational constraints and implement continuous-improvement initiatives. Ensure accurate and timely operational, productivity, staffing, and customer reporting. Qualifications 5+ years of warehouse, distribution, logistics, cross-dock, or transload experience. 3+ years of operations leadership experience. Proven experience leading supervisors and large hourly teams. Strong labor planning, productivity, KPI, and cost-management skills. Experience with P&L, budgeting, CPU/transactional operations, or financial performance management preferred. Strong customer-facing communication and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Excel, WMS, and operational reporting. Port, container, drayage, cross-dock, or transload experience preferred. Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent operational leadership experience.
