Warehouse / Materials Lead Position: Warehouse / Materials Lead Location: Tempe, AZ Schedule: 3rd shift: Sunday through Thursday 11pm - 6am OR 1st shift: Monday-Friday 8:30am - 5pm Pay: $23.00 – $26.00 per hour (DOE) Position Summary Our client, a growing manufacturing company, is seeking an experience d Warehouse / Materials Le ad to oversee the day-to-day flow of materials throughout the facility. This hands-on leadership role is ideal for someone with a strong warehouse and inventory background in a manufacturing environment who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable using computers and inventory management system s.The successful candidate will ensure accurate inventory control, maintain organized documentation, support production by ensuring materials are available when needed, and provide leadership to warehouse personne l. Responsibilities Lead daily warehouse and materials operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Coordinate the receipt, storage, movement, and issuance of materials. Maintain accurate inventory levels through cycle counts and inventory audits. Ensure inventory transactions are entered accurately into the ERP/inventory management system.' Prepare and maintain shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation. Monitor inventory accuracy and investigate discrepancies. Work closely with Production, Purchasing, and Manufacturing teams to ensure material availability. Train, mentor, and assist warehouse personnel while promoting a safe and productive work environment. Maintain an organized warehouse and ensure materials are stored properly. Follow company safety policies and warehouse best practices. Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and accura cy. Qualifications 3+ years of warehouse or materials experience in a manufacturing environment. Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred. Strong inventory management and inventory control experience. Experience with ERP or computerized inventory systems. Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office. Strong documentation and record-keeping skills. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently. Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, and move throughout the shift. Preferred Qualifications Experience with cycle counting and physical inventory. Shipping and receiving experience. Forklift certification or the ability to become certified. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or 5S principles is a plus.
