Warehouse - Material Handler

The Material Handler, Shipping is responsible for loading and unloading materials, preparing outbound shipments, and maintaining accurate inventory records within the shipping and receiving area. Key Responsibilities Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials and products safely. Move materials between docks, trucks, storage, and manufacturing areas. Pick, pack, and prepare finished products for shipment. Verify inbound and outbound loads and record material locations. Operate trucks, forklifts, and other equipment, and perform cycle counts. Follow all warehouse safety and food safety guidelines. Qualifications Experience working in a warehouse setting or logistics; experience operating material handling equipment preferred. Must be able to work well in a team environment. Ability to read, write, and follow instructions and work independently with little guidance. Ability to operate computers and relevant warehouse management software. Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends. Must obtain forklift certification prior to operating equipment. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to pull, push, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, balance, and lift in excess of 50 lbs. Extensive walking required throughout the shift. 1st shift
