Position Overview Modular Closets is seeking an experienced and results-driven Warehouse Manager to lead all warehouse operations at our Kernersville facility. This role is responsible for overseeing inventory management, receiving, shipping, order fulfillment, staffing, safety, and operational performance. The Warehouse Manager will develop and implement processes that improve efficiency, productivity, and accuracy while fostering a positive and accountable team culture. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a proven track record of warehouse management, team development, process improvement, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Manage all warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping, and warehouse organization. Lead and develop supervisors, team leads, and warehouse associates; oversee hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management. Set performance expectations, monitor productivity, and hold team members accountable for operational goals. Develop staffing plans, work schedules, and labor allocation strategies to meet business demands efficiently. Improve productivity, quality, inventory accuracy, and costs through continuous improvement initiatives and practical solutions to operational challenges. Track and analyze key performance indicators, including order accuracy, shipping performance, inventory accuracy, labor productivity, and safety. Maintain inventory integrity through cycle counts, audits, reconciliations, and effective inventory controls. Coordinate with Production, Customer Service, Purchasing, and Logistics to support smooth operations and customer satisfaction. Develop and enforce warehouse policies, procedures, and best practices; maintain compliance with company safety standards and OSHA regulations. Manage warehouse equipment, maintenance schedules, and facility organization. Support budget planning and cost management; prepare operational reports and recommendations for senior leadership. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field preferred. At least 5 years of warehouse leadership experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a management role. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, order fulfillment, and logistics coordination. Demonstrated success leading and developing teams in a fast-paced environment. Experience implementing process improvements, managing operational KPIs, and using data to make decisions. Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), inventory software, and Microsoft Office applications. Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification preferred.
