Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Warehouse Manager/Inventory Specialist to lead our distribution and logistics operations. This pivotal role combines strategic oversight with hands-on management of warehouse activities, ensuring seamless inventory control, efficient distribution, and optimized supply chain processes. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, driving continuous improvement initiatives and leveraging their expertise in logistics management systems to elevate operational performance. ! Duties Oversee daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Manage and supervise warehouse staff, fostering a team-oriented environment focused on safety, productivity, and continuous improvement. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP platforms Implement process improvements using Lean methodologies to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and enhance overall warehouse productivity. Conduct demand planning and production planning activities to align inventory levels with forecasted sales and operational needs. Manage procurement, purchasing, and materials management activities to ensure timely stock replenishment while maintaining budget controls for profit & loss accountability. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse supervision or operations management within a distribution or manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles, including inventory control, distribution operations, transportation management systems, and logistics management. Demonstrated ability in process improvement initiatives utilizing Lean or continuous improvement methodologies. Excellent managerial communication skills with experience supervising teams of varying sizes in a fast-paced setting. Familiarity with freight shipping & receiving procedures, procurement processes, fleet management, demand planning, and production scheduling. Ability to analyze supply chain analytics data to inform decision-making and optimize warehouse distribution strategies.
