Warehouse Manager

Position Summary: This position reports to the Operations Manager and is responsible for strategically overseeing the planning and scheduling of the day-to-day workload for the warehouse. This may include functions such as inventory control, receiving, product assembly, packing, transportation, and physical distribution of products to customers. This position directly supervises warehouse employees and may oversee multiple areas within warehouse operations. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain purchasing and inventory records Organize and maintain warehouse and inventory to ensure security of product Coordinate deliveries to customers Perform maintenance planning and schedule activities Prepare and update expense report, truck logs, daily cash summaries and inventory control reports Coordinate annual inventory counts Conduct training on safety, warehouse procedures, and policies to all warehouse employees Provide and/or schedule certifications (i.e. forklift, etc.) for warehouse employees Provide guidance, direction, development, and mentoring to warehouse associates, leads, and supervisors Foster a safe working environment with goals of zero lost time and zero recordable incidents Other duties assigned by the counter store manager This position has been designated as a safety sensitive position Critical Knowledge and Skills: Demonstrate ability to operate forklift Proficient in basic computer skills Work well under pressure as a self-starter with the ability to multitask Possess a valid driver’s license Demonstrate the ability to prepare well-written reports and correspondence Physical Requirements: Lift and/or move up to a maximum of 75 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation Stand, walk and sit through throughout the scheduled work shift Use of hands for grasping, pushing, and pulling Stooping, bending, and twisting Activities involving machinery, exposure to marked changes in temperature and possible exposure to other elements such as dust and fumes Work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED 2-3 years of previous experience as a warehouse worker 2-3 years of HVAC experience required 2-3 years of previous supervisory experience required ** Russell Sigler, Inc.
