Warehouse Manager

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations with energy and precision. Duties Lead and supervise all warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and materials handling to ensure efficient operations. Implement process improvements using lean management principles to enhance productivity and reduce waste across warehouse functions. Oversee the operation of material handling equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners, ensuring safety and proper usage in compliance with OSHA standards. Manage inventory control systems and warehouse management systems (WMS) to maintain accurate stock levels and facilitate smooth distribution center operations. Coordinate logistics with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to streamline distribution processes and meet delivery deadlines. Supervise team members through effective team leadership, managerial communication, and performance management strategies. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including OSHA guidelines, while fostering a safe working environment for all staff. Skills Extensive experience in warehouse distribution, operations, and inventory management systems. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control practices, and logistics coordination. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting, scheduling, and communication purposes. Skilled in process improvement methodologies such as lean management to optimize workflows. Ability to operate or oversee the operation of forklift trucks, heavy lifting equipment, and other materials handling tools safely. Proven team management skills with excellent managerial communication abilities to motivate staff and manage performance effectively.
