Warehouse Maintenance Worker (Forklift + CDL)

Overview Join our dynamic logistics team as a Warehouse Maintenance Worker specializing in forklift operation and CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) responsibilities! Your expertise will help optimize warehouse workflows, support shipping and receiving processes, and uphold safety standards across all tasks. Responsibilities Safely operate various warehouse equipment including reach trucks, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, cranes, and other heavy machinery to load, unload, stock, and organize inventory. Manage inventory control through accurate stock picking, packing, order fulfillment, and cycle counts using inventory management software and warehouse management systems. Assist with shipping and receiving activities by loading and unloading trucks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment by stocking supplies, packing orders, and ensuring materials are stored correctly. Conduct manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting and materials movement while following proper safety procedures. Support warehouse management with routine maintenance of equipment and reporting any mechanical issues or safety hazards promptly. Follow all safety regulations and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) use guidelines to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and colleagues. Requirements Valid CDL license with experience in commercial vehicle operation preferred. Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, forklifts, crane systems, pallet jacks, and load/unload machinery. Strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes including inventory management, order picking & packing, shipping & receiving. Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting safely. Familiarity with inventory management software and warehouse management systems is highly desirable. Knowledge of safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and materials handling. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately. Prior experience in warehouse operations or logistics roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
