About the Role:

This job requires on-site work - you must live within commute distance to the work location to be considered.  The Warehouse Logistics Specialist Level I plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of inventory within the warehouse environment. This position is responsible for coordinating the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting overall warehouse operations. The specialist will work closely with team members to optimize workflow, reduce errors, and meet delivery deadlines. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential to maintain a secure and organized warehouse. Ultimately, this role contributes to the seamless supply chain process by ensuring that products are properly managed and available when needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks (certification preferred but not required).
• Proficiency in using computers and warehouse management software.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role.
• Forklift operator certification.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards in warehouse settings.
• Basic knowledge of supply chain and logistics principles.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends or overtime as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and accurately document incoming shipments to verify contents and condition.
• Organize and store inventory in designated locations to maximize space utilization and accessibility.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards and customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and data entry into warehouse management systems.
• Collaborate with logistics and transportation teams to schedule and coordinate outbound shipments.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all warehouse personnel.
• Assist in identifying process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce errors.
