Warehouse Loading Assistant

Duties Load and unload trucks using various material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and cranes Assist with order picking and packing to ensure accurate shipment preparation Operate RF scanners for inventory management and order processing Conduct manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting to move materials safely within the warehouse Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records following safety protocols aligned with OSHA standards Support warehouse supervisors in inventory control, stock replenishment, and organization of storage areas Ensure all safety procedures are followed during heavy equipment operation and materials handling activities Requirements Prior experience in warehouse distribution or warehouse operations is highly preferred Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, and material handling equipment with proper certification is a plus Familiarity with inventory management systems and RF scanners is desirable Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments Knowledge of safety protocols including OSHA standards for warehouse environments Experience with shipping & receiving processes and order picking procedures Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to grow their expertise in warehouse logistics while contributing to a high-performing team.
