Responsibilities Operate tractor-trailers with manual transmission and advanced GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries across long-haul routes nationwide Safely load, secure, unload, and handle logistics cargo including hazardous materials and dangerous goods in compliance with hazardous materials regulations Manage refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, or tankers for specialized freight transportation, ensuring proper handling of temperature-sensitive or sensitive cargo Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and compliance with FMCSA and DOT regulations Navigate over-the-road (OTR) driving routes efficiently while maintaining accurate logs in accordance with FMCSA regulations Load and unload freight at various delivery points, ensuring proper manual handling techniques to prevent damage or injury Communicate effectively using GPS navigation tools and maintain professional conduct during delivery driving assignments Experience Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including tractor-trailer operation with manual transmissions Prior delivery driver experience with freight handling, route driving, and logistics cargo management Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbed trucks, tankers, and automobile transportation is highly desirable Knowledge of FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) rules, and hazardous materials regulations Experience with truck loading/unloading procedures involving manual handling of freight and dangerous goods Ability to operate GPS navigation systems accurately for route planning and real-time adjustments Valid CDL-A license with a clean driving record; endorsements such as Hazmat are a plus but not mandatory for all roles This role offers an energetic environment where your skills in commercial driving, logistics cargo handling, and route management will be recognized and rewarded.
