Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Warehouse Lead to join our team and drive excellence in warehouse operations. As a key leader on-site, you will oversee daily distribution activities, manage inventory control processes, and ensure safety and efficiency across all warehouse functions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a team, implement process improvements, and contribute to the seamless flow of materials and products within a fast-paced logistics environment. Your energy, organizational skills, and leadership will be vital in maintaining high standards of warehouse management and operational success. Duties Supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and material handling to ensure smooth operations. Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff, providing clear direction, coaching, and performance feedback to foster a high-performing work environment. Operate and oversee the use of forklift trucks, RF scanners, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software; conduct regular cycle counts and audits. Implement process improvements aligned with lean management principles to optimize workflow, reduce waste, and enhance productivity. Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and enforce proper safety procedures during all warehouse activities. Coordinate logistics for shipping & receiving schedules, ensuring timely dispatches and arrivals while managing documentation accurately. Experience Proven experience in warehouse distribution or logistics operations within a distribution center or similar setting. Demonstrated leadership experience as a warehouse supervisor or team leader with strong team management skills. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control systems, and Microsoft Office applications for reporting and communication purposes. Hands-on experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts; certification preferred. Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to warehouse safety practices. Strong understanding of inventory management techniques, shipping & receiving procedures, and materials handling processes. Excellent managerial communication skills to effectively coordinate with teams, vendors, and other stakeholders in fast-paced environments.
