Warehouse Lead
PacicoJob Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Warehouse Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations and ensure efficient manufacturing performance. In this pivotal role, you will lead a team of warehouse associates, manage inventory control, and optimize logistics processes to meet organizational goals. Duties Supervise daily warehouse activities including materials handling and inventory management to ensure smooth operations. Material handling using forklifts and RF scanners to an organized work space. Implement process improvements using lean management principles to enhance workflow efficiency and reduce waste. Maintain accurate inventory records utilizing warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control systems; conduct regular cycle counts and audits. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety protocols Receive full truck loads of fabric, place and organize the inventory of raw materials, and verify shipments against documentation Collaborate with production team to optimize cutting operations, improve manufacturing timelines, and streamline supply chain processes. Experience Proven experience in warehouse operations or manufacturing with a strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management systems. Demonstrated leadership skills in a warehouse supervisor or team lead role, with experience managing teams in fast-paced environments. Hands-on experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners; forklift certification preferred. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations; ability to enforce safety policies effectively. Familiarity with process improvement methodologies like lean management or Six Sigma is advantageous. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting, documentation, and communication purposes. Strong managerial communication skills with the ability to motivate teams, resolve conflicts, and foster collaboration across departments. Experience working within distribution center operations or heavy lifting environments is highly desirable.
