Warehouse Lead

Location/Work Type: Full Time onsite Baytown, TX Reports to: Inbound Supervisor Job Summary: The Warehouse Lead supports daily outbound warehouse operations by stepping into replenishment, picking, wrapping, staging, and shipping duties as needed to keep the shift running smoothly. This role leads and directs warehouse associates, maintains inventory accuracy, and promotes safe work practices consistent with the expectation that safety is every employee's responsibility. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Lead and support daily outbound warehouse operations, stepping into replenishment, picking, wrapping, staging, or shipping duties as needed to keep the shift running Operate forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment Assign tasks to warehouse associates and adjust coverage throughout the shift to meet operational priorities Maintain inventory accuracy, identifying and reporting discrepancies to the Senior Outbound Supervisor Monitor shift productivity and quality, addressing issues in real time Follow all safety policies and procedures and promote safe work practices among the team, consistent with the expectation that safety is every employee's responsibility Report safety hazards, incidents, or near misses to the Senior Outbound Supervisor Train warehouse associates on procedures and equipment operation Fill in for the Senior Outbound Supervisor on routine matters during their absence, as needed Minimum Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent Experience: Minimum of 2 years of warehouse or distribution center experience Experience operating forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment Skills/Abilities: Valid forklift certification required Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment Ability to step into multiple roles across outbound operations as needed Strong verbal communication skills Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs throughout the workday, with or without reasonable accommodation Frequent use of hands for grasping, handling, and operating equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation Compensation & Benefits: We offer a competitive salary, bonus incentives, and comprehensive benefits package including Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Employee Assistance Program, 401K + Match, Paid Time Off and 14+ Paid Holidays.
