A few other reasons to join Thibaut include: Performance incentives up to an additional $3.00 per hour and optional OT 15 days of PTO and 11 holidays per calendar year Safe workplace Great benefits Position overview: The position is responsible for: Partner with other leads in daily leadership of the Distribution Center’s wallpaper and fabric departments and a staff of approximately 24 associates. This position is a working lead, and as such, the lead will also participate in all activities of the department, including picking orders, packing orders, shipping orders, prioritizing work assignments of the department, efficiently, and according to customer requirements. Providing accurate and effective communication for all internal and external customers over the phone and via email in a professional, courteous, and timely manner (up and down the organization). Maintaining inventory accurately and according to company policies. Recognizing quality issues. Escalating safety, cleanliness, quality and any other issues that may arise during the operation. Ensure the team meets or exceeds any productivity standards. Reviews activities in wallpaper and fabric distribution to ensure adherence to all SOP’s and processes. Work with the rest of the distribution management team to establish a best-practice workflow, and participate in continuous process improvement efforts, for the staging, receiving, and put-away of all receipts. Responsible for managing the daily workflow for all Wallpaper and Fabric associates. Responsible for providing specific training required for all Wallpaper and Fabric associates. Safely operates any equipment, including, but not limited to, forklifts, man-up Order Picker, voice or RF picking equipment. Able to operate at heights of ~25’ high. Processes orders, investigations, reconciliations, and reports according to established department policies and procedures. Partners with the internal teams, as needed, to meet and exceed customer’s service expectations. Cross-train with Samples team to fill in accordingly, when/if needed. Works closely with the quality department to resolve disputed items/claims. Qualifications: Minimum of high school diploma/ GED required. 4+ years of experience in receiving, inventory management or other similar distribution center activities. 2+ years of leadership experience required. 2+ years of cherry picker experience required. Prior experience in textiles and wallcoverings preferred. Familiar with inventory and warehouse management concepts and systems. Strong math skills. Excellent computer skills, preferably in an AS400 or Infor environment. Must be able to use MS Office especially Excel and Word. Outstanding follow-up skills. Able to lift up to 60 lbs. Able to push and pull rolling carts and pallet jacks. Able to stand/walk up to 8 hours per day. Thibaut is an equal opportunity employer.
