ceiving, transfer, shipping and cycle count
• perform inventory counts as required based on business & operating needs
• Proper tagging/marking of received inventory or material in warehouse
• Managing garbage and recycling within the building, ensuring proper disposal and waste collection.
• Assist in heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
• Operate a forklift or electric pallet jack in a safe manner to move received product
• Reporting and resolving of inventory inaccuracies in terms of parts quantity, location and part number
• May be required to assist with scheduling freight appointments
• Participate in reconciliation activities to support the warehouse weekly/monthly/yearly cycle counting process
• Report discrepancies to immediate supervisor
• Follow effective procedures of inventory management
• Maintain organized work area according to policies, procedures and safety regulations
• Make deliveries with a company vehicle as assigned
• Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Forklift certification preferred
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting
• Able to communicate both verbally and in writing
• Basic mathematical skills
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• Ability to weigh and measure items
• Working knowledge of safe lifting methods
• Able to work efficiently as part of a team as well as independently
• Attention to detail in all areas of work
• Good organizational, time management and prioritization skills
• Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
Working Conditions
• Overtime as required
• Lifting or moving up to 50lbs may be required
• Work is performed in a combination of environments
• This position may be exposed to elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes and oils.
• Ability to work 4-6 hours per shift, physically standing and moving around
