We’re looking for a Warehouse Labourer to join our team. This is more than just a warehouse position — it’s an opportunity for someone who is reliable, hands-on, mechanically inclined, and wants to develop their skills and eventually move into a Field Service Technician role. You’ll start by learning our warehouse operations, lighting products, deliveries, and day-to-day business. As you gain experience and demonstrate the right skills and attitude, you’ll have the opportunity to take on more technical responsibilities and work toward a Field Service Technician position. About the Role As a Warehouse Labourer , you’ll be an important part of our day-to-day operations. You’ll help keep our warehouse organized and running efficiently while supporting deliveries, customer pickups, showroom needs, construction projects, and service work. You’ll work closely with our warehouse, builder services, showroom, and service teams under the direction of the department manager. This is a hands-on position that is well suited to someone who is reliable, hardworking, mechanically inclined, comfortable working physically, and interested in learning new skills. Career Growth – Warehouse to Field Service Technician This position is designed to give the right person an opportunity to build a career at Chateau Lighting. As you gain experience and demonstrate reliability, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to learn , you’ll have the opportunity to take on additional technical responsibilities and progress toward a Field Service Technician position. The Field Service Technician role can include: Lighting fixture installations Fixture replacements and adjustments Troubleshooting and repairs Warranty and service calls Job-site service and support Working with hand and power tools Diagnosing and resolving installation issues Working directly with customers, contractors, and other trades You don’t need to know how to do all of this on day one.
