Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, stock, and move materials efficiently. Perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting, stocking, packing, and order picking with precision and safety adherence. Use inventory management software and RF scanners to track stock levels, update records, and support inventory control processes. Assist in shipping and receiving activities by verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders and preparing outgoing orders for dispatch. Maintain accurate inventory records through regular stock counts and audits using warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 platforms. Follow all safety regulations including OSHA standards and PPE use to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues. Support warehouse operations by organizing materials, managing storage areas, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols during all handling activities. Experience Prior experience working in a warehouse distribution or logistics environment is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided. Demonstrated ability to operate warehouse material handling equipment such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, forklifts, crane systems, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely. Basic math skills necessary for inventory counts, measurements, and order accuracy. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, RF scanners, and AS400 is advantageous. Knowledge of safety regulations including OSHA standards and proper PPE use is highly valued. Experience in warehouse supervision or team leadership is a plus but not mandatory; we value proactive individuals eager to learn and grow within our team.
