WAREHOUSE & INVENTORY SPECIALIST -SHEET METAL FABRICATION

POSITION OVERVIEW: We are looking for a reliable and organized individual to manage incoming finished goods, perform quality inspections, maintain inventory accuracy, and organize materials throughout our facility. This hands-on role is essential to ensuring our customers receive quality products on time. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Receive and inspect bollards returning from powder coating and galvanizing vendors Verify quality and completeness of finished products against customer specifications Identify and document defects or damage requiring rework Maintain accurate inventory records for bollards and sheet metal materials Organize and move materials throughout the shop using forklift equipment Prepare bollards for packaging and shipment to customers Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe Coordinate with production team and management on inventory levels and material flow REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire) Ability to lift and move heavy materials safely Strong attention to detail and quality standards Basic computer skills for inventory tracking Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to work independently with minimal supervision PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or fabrication environment Familiarity with powder coating, galvanizing, or metal finishing processes Experience with inventory management systems Knowledge of quality control inspection procedures PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Frequent lifting of materials up to 50 lbs Operation of forklift and material handling equipment Work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures SCHEDULE: Full-time position [Specify hours, e.g., Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 7 PM] Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour Work Location: In person
