NOW HIRING – INVENTORY CONTROL SPECIALIST Telecommunications Contractor | Experienced & Entry-Level Applicants Welcome Titan Communications is currently seeking a motivated, organized, and dependable Inventory Control Specialist to join our growing telecommunications team. This position is responsible for managing, tracking, and maintaining inventory used in fiber optic internet installations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, comfortable working with computers and inventory tracking systems, and able to ensure technicians have the necessary equipment and materials to complete their daily assignments. Experience in telecommunications or warehouse inventory management is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Track and manage fiber optic installation materials, including ONTs, routers, modems, fiber cable, connectors, and other installation supplies. Issue equipment and materials to field technicians and accurately document all inventory transactions. Track equipment by serial number and maintain accurate records of materials assigned to individual technicians. Monitor inventory levels and notify management when equipment or supplies need to be replenished. Perform routine inventory counts, audits, and reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies. Maintain accurate inventory records using spreadsheets, inventory management software, and other tracking systems. Process returned, defective, damaged, and unused equipment. Coordinate with field technicians and management to ensure materials are available for scheduled installations. Investigate missing equipment, inventory shortages, and discrepancies. Keep warehouse and inventory storage areas clean, organized, and properly labeled. Assist with equipment pickups, deliveries, and transfers between locations when needed. Minimum Requirements Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and data entry. Ability to maintain accurate inventory records and documentation. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize daily responsibilities. Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 40 lbs. Valid driver's license. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. Previous inventory control, warehouse, or telecommunications experience preferred but not required. Familiarity with fiber optic equipment, routers, modems, and ONTs is a plus.
