Job Title: Warehouse/Inventory Associate About Us: Spray-Quip, Inc. is a small business specializing in protective coatings equipment rentals, sales, repair, and technical services. We are currently looking for a Warehouse/Inventory Associate to join our team to help stock and maintain internal inventory movements within our organization. Position Overview: As a Warehouse/Inventory Associate, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, pulling and distributing inventory and materials throughout the Company’s facilities. This position supports daily warehouse and sales operations by ensuring materials are accurately located, organized, labeled and available when needed. The role requires strong attention to detail, basic computer and ERP skills, physical activity throughout the workday and the ability to safely lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs. Key Responsibilities: Pick, pull, and stage inventory and materials accurately for customer orders, internal work orders, rentals, repairs, and assembly projects. Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities and condition of goods, and put inventory away in the appropriate locations. Load, unload, move, and transport materials, products, equipment, and supplies between multiple buildings and work areas. Maintain organized, clean, and clearly identified inventory storage areas. Perform routine inventory counts, cycle counts, and physical inventory activities; investigate and report discrepancies. Enter and retrieve information using a computer and ERP system, including order, inventory, and material transactions. Prepare materials and products for shipment, including picking, packing, labeling, and staging. Inspect incoming and outgoing products for visible damage, shortages, or discrepancies and report issues appropriately. Maintain accurate inventory locations and ensure materials are returned to the proper location after use. Assist with light assembly, kitting, and preparation of products or components as needed. Safely operate material-handling equipment such as pallet jacks, carts, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment as authorized. Communicate effectively with sales, purchasing, service/repair, rental, and other internal teams to ensure materials and equipment are available when needed. Perform other warehouse, inventory, material-handling, and operational duties as assigned. Physical Requirements: Ability to remain on your feet and actively move throughout the workday. Ability to walk between and work in multiple buildings and storage areas. Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. Ability to safely handle a variety of industrial products, parts, tools, and equipment. Ability to work in a warehouse/industrial environment with varying temperatures and conditions. Qualifications: Previous warehouse, inventory, distribution, or material-handling experience preferred. Basic computer skills and the ability to accurately enter and retrieve information in an ERP/inventory management system required. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain inventory accuracy. Ability to read and follow work orders, packing slips, inventory information, and written instructions. Dependable, organized, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
