Warehouse Inbound Operations Supervisor

About the Role As a Warehouse Inbound Lead, you will oversee the critical intake of inventory, ensuring that all incoming shipments are processed with precision and efficiency. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining operational flow, driving team performance, and upholding rigorous quality standards to support our distribution goals. Responsibilities Direct daily receiving workflows to ensure all inbound shipments are processed, inspected, and verified against documentation. Optimize dock operations and trailer flow to maximize throughput and minimize processing delays. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA compliance while maintaining a secure work environment. Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to maintain accurate inventory records and facilitate seamless putaway processes. Conduct regular quality audits to identify discrepancies, resolve shortages, and ensure product integrity. Drive operational excellence by analyzing performance data and implementing process improvements such as 5S or Kaizen methodologies. Qualifications Required Skills High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Proven ability to lead teams and manage operational workflows. Proficiency in WMS software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong attention to detail with the ability to verify complex shipment accuracy. Forklift certification or the ability to obtain one. Preferred Skills Associate’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Management. 3+ years of supervisory experience in high-volume inbound operations. Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies. Familiarity with enterprise-level systems like SAP or Manhattan. Bilingual communication skills to support a diverse team.
