Warehouse Fullfilment/Feed Store

Warehouse/Barn Fulfillment 5470 Scott Valley Drive compensation: Hourly rate based upon experience employment type: part-time Scotts Valley Feed has an opening for a warehouse and barn fulfillment position. The position is available to an outgoing person who is physically fit and has good attention to product detail. This is a fun and social role, which is very physical. Lifting and loading 50 pound feed sacks and 100 pound bales of hay is a normal part of the day. This position is 3 or 4 days per week, with a schedule from Thursday to Sunday, or Friday to Sunday (we can discuss what fits better). We are an independently owned animal feed store focused on serving the local community and their much-loved chickens, horses, dogs, cats, goats, llamas, birds, small animals and more. We work hard to provide a diverse range of quality products, as well as provide exceptional customer service and good product knowledge. Benefits - Large employee discount (great for animal owners!) - Paid time-off/vacation accrual starts at 90 days (2 weeks per year based on 40 hours/week) Requirements: - Must be available a minimum of 3 days per week (We are open 9 - 5 Monday through Saturday, with shifts running from 8:50 - 5, and 10-4 on Sunday with shifts running from 9:50-4) - Must be 18 or over, for potential forklift training - Ability to regularly lift and stack hay (with proper training, 80 - 100 lbs. per bale) Key Responsibilities (not all begin immediately) - Loading customer vehicles - Loading our flat bed delivery truck - Receiving inventory and stocking the warehouse and retail store - Insuring product stock is rotated for quality assurance - Helping customers with product selection Qualifications - Good attention to detail - Self-motivated, energetic and friendly - Good at multitasking Please submit a short introduction with your resume & qualifications to Ben.
