Company: Day One Distribution Location: Portland, OR (on-site) Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (Morning Crew), no weekends Pay: $55,000–$60,000 per year ABOUT DAY ONE DISTRIBUTION Day One Distribution is an Oregon beverage distributor delivering craft beer, kombucha, and other beverages. We service bars, restaurants, retailers, and grocery accounts. We're building a warehouse team with clear roles, consistent standards, and predictable schedules, and we're looking for a hands-on leader to help own it. POSITION SUMMARY The Warehouse Floor Supervisor is responsible for putting away incoming stock and keeping inventory organized at our main distribution center. As the utility/all-around leader of the Morning Crew, you'll own warehouse condition, cleanliness, and 5S standards, support truck loading and picking, and assist Shift Supervisors with logistics and routing. This role reports to the Director of Warehouse & Delivery Operations. WHAT YOU'LL DO Receive incoming stock and put product away in assigned bay and rack locations the same day it arrives Keep inventory organized, accurate, and easy to locate Help load trucks at the start of each shift so morning delivery routes leave on time Load and unload trucks alongside the Morning Crew Support order picking as volume requires Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization throughout the shift Own 5S standards at the distribution center, including conducting a weekly 5S audit, documenting findings, and correcting deficiencies Assist Shift Supervisors with logistics and routing when needed Identify and report facility or equipment issues to management HOW SUCCESS IS MEASURED Stock put away accurately and on the same day it's received Passing score on the weekly warehouse 5S audit Trucks loaded accurately and on time for morning routes Picking support that keeps orders moving on schedule WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR [2+] years of warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience; beverage or food distribution a plus [1+] year in a lead or supervisory role preferred Experience with logistics and delivery route planning, such as building or adjusting routes, sequencing stops, and coordinating truck loads to delivery schedules Familiarity with routing software or dispatch tools a plus Forklift and pallet jack experience (certification preferred or obtained on hire) Familiarity with 5S or other organization/lean standards a plus Ability to lift and move up to [50] lbs repeatedly and handle kegs and pallets using proper equipment Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and working in a warehouse environment for a full shift Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a habit of following through on standards Must be [21+] (alcohol distribution) BENEFITS 401(k) Dental insurance Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid sick time Paid time off Paid training Vision insurance Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
