Warehouse Facility Associate

Position Summary The Warehouse Facility Associate will oversee the general organization of the warehouse, receive and verify deliveries, ensure proper storage, picking, and packing operations for our retail store and our commercial customers. In addition, they will be responsible for crating and uncrating commercial kitchen equipment and preparing items for delivery & installation. The ideal candidate will maintain safety standards and provide exceptional support for both customer deliveries and inventory management. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: ● Restocks supplies and inventory in warehouse and retail store as needed. ● Accepts, verifies, inspects and records all deliveries according to policy. Records, reports and notifies supervisor of any shipping or receiving issues. Returns defective items and notes any shortages. ● Inspects incoming equipment shipments for damage, defect, or missing parts, and report discrepancies immediately. ● Stores items in an orderly and accessible manner in designated warehouse zones to optimize space and safety. ● Operates forklifts and other equipment after completing required training. ● Delivers weekly orders to customers utilizing company provided vehicle. (10% of time) ● Maintains the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse and retail areas. ● Assists in weekly cleaning duties such as dusting, organizing shelves, emptying garbage receptacles per management direction. ● Performs other related duties, as assigned by supervisor including working retail store assist retail customers, answering incoming phone calls and routing to others as necessary. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Qualifications: ● High school diploma or equivalent required. ● Proven experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or inventory management. ● Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail. ● Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. ● Familiarity with warehouse safety protocols and compliance standards. ● Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office ● Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required by warehouse operations. Qualifications: ● Experience in a retail or e-commerce environment. ● Knowledge of scheduling and delivery coordination. ● NYS Driver’s License required; CDL Class B a plus.
