Position We are looking to elevate our teams performance with the opening of a full-time Warehouse & Facilities Assistant. This position assists and supports the Operations Manager with various activities from customer order fulfillment to maintaining facilities. What makes this different? · This is a hands-on role in a small, team-oriented company; warehouse employees work with material science equipment and consumables rather than high-volume retail distribution · This role provides exposure to shipping, inventory management, purchasing support, ERP systems, and facilities operations. Responsibilities Order fulfillment - Prepare (pick and pack) and load outgoing shipments, complete associated documents accurately Unload incoming deliveries, verify contents and complete associated documentation accurately Assist with maintaining warehouse through stocking, organizing, and cleaning; including performing and documenting inventory spot check Assist with reporting and troubleshooting of shipping issues Product labeling and packaging Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing precision manufacturing and analysis products Support facilities maintenance Work in a safe and efficient manner while adhering to company safety policies Experience & Requirements A valid US driver’s license is required. This is an active, on-your-feet position involving frequent lifting, warehouse movement, and material handling. The candidate must have the ability to consistently lift 50 LB and occasionally 75+ LB. Pallet jack and/or forklift experience is preferred. Experience / certification with HAZMAT shipments is a bonus. Candidates should be detail oriented, have a sense of urgency, a get it done work ethic, strong attendance history, be customer focused and demonstrate concrete organizational, time management, and prioritization skills along with effective verbal and written communication skills. Experience with any of the following is a plus; ERP systems, inventory management, cycle counting, Microsoft 365, LTL shipments, UPS, FedEx, vendor tracking & purchasing.
