Warehouse / Distribution - Customer Pick-Up

Job Summary Miskelly Furniture is seeking a dependable and hardworking Customer Pick-Up Associate to join our warehouse team. This role is responsible for providing customers with a friendly, efficient, and professional experience when they arrive to pick up their furniture, mattresses, and accessories. Key Responsibilities Greet customers promptly and provide friendly, professional service throughout the pick-up process. Taking merchandise pulled from the Distribution Center and carting it on to the Customer Pickup Dock. Verify customer information, merchandise, and order documentation prior to releasing products. Dress and communicate in a professional manner when servicing a customer Have the customer sign for pickup of the merchandise Physically load the merchandise on to the customer’s vehicle Properly secure the merchandise in the vehicle to prevent damage during transportation Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous warehouse, furniture, retail, material-handling, or customer service experience preferred but not required. Ability to learn warehouse and customer pick-up procedures and systems. Strong customer service skills Able to work well in a team environment Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions Ability to lift and maneuver items that weigh over 100lbs.
