Warehouse Supervisor Elliott Electric Supply | Garland, TX Position: Warehouse Supervisor Department: Warehouse Operations & Delivery Position Summary Elliott Electric Supply is seeking a dependable, organized, and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations and coordinate local deliveries throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse leadership, truck dispatching, delivery route planning, and team management. This individual must be able to prioritize daily workloads, effectively delegate responsibilities, and ensure customer orders are accurately picked, staged, and delivered in a timely manner. We are looking for a hands-on leader who can maintain an efficient operation, solve problems quickly, and hold their team accountable. Key Responsibilities Warehouse Operations Oversee daily picking, packing, and staging of customer orders. Ensure orders are completed accurately and ready for scheduled deliveries. Coordinate workflow to meet daily shipping and delivery deadlines. Monitor productivity, order accuracy, and overall warehouse efficiency. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Dispatching & Delivery Routing Plan, organize, and coordinate daily local delivery routes throughout the DFW Metroplex. Dispatch delivery trucks and assign routes based on location, delivery priorities, and available resources. Maximize route efficiency while minimizing unnecessary mileage and delays. Communicate with drivers regarding delivery schedules, route changes, and customer needs. Make adjustments throughout the day to accommodate urgent orders, delays, and changing priorities. Team Leadership & Supervision Direct and delegate daily assignments to warehouse employees and delivery personnel. Establish clear expectations and hold team members accountable for performance. Monitor workload distribution to ensure employees and equipment are being utilized effectively. Provide guidance, training, and support to warehouse staff. Identify operational challenges and implement solutions to improve workflow. Maintain strong communication between warehouse staff, drivers, sales personnel, and management. Qualifications & Experience Previous experience in warehouse supervision, dispatching, logistics, or distribution operations. Strong knowledge of local delivery routing and truck dispatching is highly preferred. Familiarity with the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex and surrounding delivery areas. Proven ability to lead employees, delegate tasks, and manage competing priorities. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and efficiency. Comfortable using computer systems for order management, dispatching, and route planning. Experience in electrical wholesale distribution or a similar industry is a plus.
