Warehouse Director

Summary S. Abraham & Sons is seeking an experienced and results-driven Director of Distribution to lead warehouse and distribution operations. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the distribution center, including inventory management, warehouse operations, transportation assets, safety initiatives, budgeting, and team development. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values continuous improvement, and has a proven track record of developing high-performing teams while delivering exceptional customer service. What You'll Do Lead all daily distribution center (DC) operations to ensure timely and accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of products Drive operational efficiency while maintaining high service level and customer satisfaction Manage inventory control processes, including physical inventory counts and verification procedures Oversee warehouse equipment, facility maintenance, and grounds upkeep Build, coach, mentor, and develop managers, supervisors, and warehouse personnel Manage returned goods processing and inventory of related licensing/stamping juristictions Maintain accountability for operational performance and continuous improvement efforts What we're looking for Minimum of 5 years progressive leadership in distribution, warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations Proven ability to manage budgets, operational metrics, and improve processes Strong problem-solving and decision making abilities Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills Flexibility to work varying schedules as business demands require Preferred Experience Multi-shift warehouse leadership experience Foodservice, wholesale distribution, consumer goods, or logistics industry experience Experience driving operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives Work Environment This position operates primarily within a warehouse environment and involves regular interaction with warehouse operations and personnel.
