Key Duties Safely load, unload, and organize flooring materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling equipment Drive a box truck or similar commercial vehicle to deliver flooring products across designated routes Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods while maintaining excellent customer service Assist with route planning and navigation to improve delivery efficiency Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks before and after deliveries Handle heavy lifting of flooring materials while following proper safety protocols Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation for each trip Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times, expectations, and any delays Support warehouse operations by organizing inventory, preparing shipments, and assisting with stock management Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment Requirements Must be able to lift up to 65 lbs Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Valid driver’s license with appropriate endorsements for commercial driving roles (if required) Proven experience as a delivery driver, courier, or warehouse associate with route‑driving responsibilities Experience operating box trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks , and manual transmission vehicles preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Knowledge of safety procedures for heavy lifting, material handling, and vehicle operation Warehouse experience helpful for inventory management and safety compliance Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety standards Proficiency with iPads, computers, and warehouse management software Benefits 1 week of paid sick leave during the first year 2nd paid week of vacation after 1 year of employment 3rd paid week of vacation after 2 years of employment Supportive team environment with opportunities for growth Work with a respected flooring contractor serving Connecticut for generations If you’re dependable, organized, and ready to join a company with a long history of quality and professionalism, we encourage you to apply.
